C + C | Auberge du Soleil

{Part Two}

I adore these two. Perhaps it’s how he winks at her and kisses her forehead, or perhaps it’s how she looks up into his eyes and gives him a big sweet kiss.  It’s true love.

And I must confess… I might have been obsessed with her dress; just a tiny bit.  Oh and her shoes, who doesn’t love sparkly jewel encrusted Louboutins!  It was all just a giant day of wonderful!

The cocktail reception… there will be a longer talk on another day but I beg of you to move your timeline around so you can participate in the cocktail reception.  It will be so important to you and your guests and your heart.

C + C | St. Helena Catholic Church

{Part One}

I adored Corinne and Chris and I think you will too!  This is part one of their two part wedding weekend, starting at the majestic St. Helena Catholic Church.  As New Yorkers, they wanted a true wine country wedding experience, but also wanted the sanctity of a church wedding so their solution… have both!  Just a handful of family were invited to this private afternoon ceremony, with the main event the following day.

More to come soon…

Spring Lake Family Portraits

Perhaps it was the rare lunar eclipse, or the warm spring day, but whatever it was I had so much fun with these three ladies and I didn’t want it to end!

Riley, who aspires to travel the world as a National Geographic photographer and who directed about half of the shots I took that day.  She had more ideas than I had memory cards and I was ready to hire her as my right hand gal!

Sadie, who is lovely and kind and confessed that she’s tossing around the idea that she might want to be a wedding planner when she finishes school. Her happy personality and calm demeanor would be perfect!

Amy, the mother of the two. Beautiful and sweet and I felt like we could have gone out for drinks and laughed until the wee hours of the night. You can spot a good mother by looking into the eyes and smiles of her children, and that’s how I instantly knew she was a good one.

These portraits were gifted to Amy from her mom, who attended a charity event for Sjogrens Foundation and had bid on my silent auction portrait donation.  I was so happy to help!
